Having your wedding dress designed and especially made for you is a wonderful experience! This allows you all the freedom to select the style and fabric to fit perfectly within your theme. Sandra has many years' experience to guide you through the sometimes daunting selection process, advising in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring you have a truly spectacular dress. Sandra has worked within the industry for many years and has a fantastic knowledge of design, fabric and garment construction, which are all key elements to achieving stunning results. As you will be dealing directly with Sandra, you can be assured that at all times you will receive her undivided attention.

The initial meeting is usually an informal discussion about ideas, designs, themes, and budget. From this, Sandra will draw up initial sketches and propose a fabric selection. A price indication can be given at this stage. On finalising the design the price will be agreed, a detailed sketch will be provided along with fabric swatches and order confirmation form. At this point a 50% deposit is required.

At the next meeting, body measurements will be taken to enable a pattern and calico toile (mock up) to be made to your exact requirements. At this stage, Sandra will fit the toile to you, allowing you to see the design on the body and adjust any elements of the design or fit that may be necessary. A matching veil can also be selected at this time.

Once you are totally satisfied with the design and fit, the fabric is then cut and the final dress is started with usually one or two fitting appointments at this stage, depending on the complexity of the design.
